Chan Hoi Tat (Bentat) currently resides in Hong Kong. He graduated from the City University of Hong Kong’s School of Creative Media with top of class and Summa Cum Laude honors.

Bentat is a freelance photographer and artist specialising in photography. His work primarily explores the realms of art and creative photography.

He has received accolades from numerous prestigious photography competitions, such as the National Geographic International Photography Contest, the International Photography Awards (IPA), the CBRE Urban Photographer of the Year Competition, the Tokyo International Foto Awards (TIFA), and the Budapest International Foto Awards (BIFA), among others. His photography has been showcased in several exhibitions. He has also worked as a commercial and event photographer for various brands and organisations.
